Now that I’m approaching the end of my maternity leave, I’m feeling a sense of anticipation and excitement about returning to work – like how a runner feels before a big race after some time off. I’m ready to run again!

After closing my doors to new clients for the past few months, I wanted to let you know: we’ll have increased availability starting this fall.

Here’s how my team and I can support you if you’re in need of content or a new website.

1. Ongoing project management and content support for your marketing team.

Paying someone else to write your content can be a lot like when-you-give-a-mouse-a-cookie.

If you enlist the help of a copywriter to help with blog posts, email copy, and LinkedIn captions, you’ll also need someone to design the graphics for those posts (or pull photos to support them).

Then, you’ll need someone to format them on your website and email platform, make sure they look professional, and schedule them.

Then, in order to make sure your investment is working for you, someone should probably be tracking the blog traffic, email open rates, and LinkedIn engagement.

Who’s managing all that?

If you have a small team (or a nonexistent team), you certainly don’t have the capacity.

Meaning, if all you’re paying for is a few blog posts per month submitted via Google docs, you’re actually not getting the most out of your investment, because you don’t have a project manager to help you get all that content to the finish line. (We know because we’ve seen it firsthand with our clients.)

So my team and I came up with a solution. It’s a turnkey way to publish all your content – so all you have to do is show up with your ideas, and we’ll take care of the rest. (Or, if you’d prefer, we can even brainstorm ideas for you.)

Here’s everything we can help you with:

  1. High-quality that’s written a quarter in advance. (We’re never scrambling to write next week’s newsletter email, and we’re not copy-pasting from ChatGPT).
  2. We can create the design assets you might need for your posts.
  3. We’ll schedule all of your blog posts, emails, and/or LinkedIn posts.
  4. We’ll facilitate quarterly strategy calls to make sure you’re never just spinning your wheels and producing content for the sake of it.
  5. We’ll track your blog traffic, email open rates, and LinkedIn engagement so we can continue to improve our strategy.

2. A new website!

Choosing a designer for your new website is one of the most important decisions you’ll make for your business. But many people overlook the importance of finding a copywriter.

Here’s my advice: before you even find a designer, find a copywriter you trust. He or she will have designer referrals for you. When I write websites for my clients, here’s how I help them get their websites to the finish line:

  1. I’ll offer strategic direction for the website. We’ll talk about how many pages make sense, how to best communicate to your audience(s), and what makes sense for your home page layout.
  2. I’ll write the messaging for your entire website and send it off to the designer. With this clear direction, the designer will be able to much more effectively bring your ideas to life.
  3. You’ll receive a done-for-you site faster, because you won’t be going back and forth with a designer who is trying to write your website copy. (That’s not their specialty)!
